The route

A private jeep into Kaudulla National Park.

Kaudulla National Park sits in the same dry-zone landscape as Habarana and Minneriya, with wide grasslands and wetland pockets that attract elephants, deer and resident birdlife.

We often recommend Kaudulla when recent park reports, water levels or crowd patterns make it the better choice for your date. The parks are close enough that a local team can switch the plan without changing your hotel base.

The safari remains private, so couples, families and small groups can travel at a comfortable pace and stop for photographs without joining a large convoy.
